I can't remember the next step - haven't time at present to look it up but think it is a generalised approval in principle before more details sorted out. My thinking is that EGR is close to this next step which once it has occurred would encourage conditional off-take agreements. Once they are arranged for somewhat more than 50% output then I think the way would be clear for firmer commitment from kFW. Ultimately, I expect would need German Government approval. I think it most likely Thyssen Krupp will sign up for conventional uses of graphite. So too a German trader lets say. Then 20,000 tpy to mid-stream processing in Ukraine and on to POSCO by the looks of it. Bound to be a European battery producer in the mix.

I expect Trump's games and mad MAGA cult behaviour will make dealmaking in Europe easier for EGR.
I wonder about the effect of trade wars on Chinese hold on graphite markets.
