hopefully things will work out for the egyptians. the french revolution was not all that long ago - they did not have twitter, facebook etc - but they still managed to "rise up" ..
sadly, with too many people, not enough opportunities, then there will be problems.
another problem might be, that the focus of their problems will be turned against isreal .. the best way to unite a country is to find an enemy. gosh, the americans are adept at this - they manage to find a new enemy every decade (or maybe a new enemy - every few years)
