The other point to be made is that livestock production is very inefficient compared to grain production.
So we are likely to see meat flavoured grain products becoming more common.
Diet is also likely to become a major priority in the near future.
With the rapid trend to obesity, the initial attempt by way of drugs is likely to be replaced by a controlled diet of foods that may taste like what we consume now but is in effect vegetable products with flavour enhancing and calorie modified.
