Hello again Dull. Very big of you not to debate micrograms vs milligrams. Would you be willing to go so far as to make a formal retraction of your earlier statement that micrograms are one thousandth of a gram? It would go such a long way to improving the quality of the debate around here (and your credibility) if we could get clear agreement on some of these basic principles.

"You seem to want to dismiss the 20,100 ppm NaF levels as no big deal." Well yes and no. But if we're still on the toothpaste comparison, this is 10,050ppm flouride ions, which is only seven times greater than that found what most people put in their mouths twice daily.

Before I tackle the rest of your message, let's see if we can agree some basic foundations once more. Do you concur that:

1.) NaF comprises one atom of Sodium and one atom of Flourine?
2.) That 20,100 parts of NaF therefore means 10,050 atoms of Sodium and 10,050 atoms of Flourine?
3.) That toothpaste contains typically on the order of 1450ppm?
4.) That 10,050 / 1450 = ~7.24?

If you would be so kind as to answer each of those questions individually, I will respectfully continue to engage you in debate, and we can get on to the questions of whether this level is a problem at Kvanefjeld, whether NaF is used as rat poison (spoiler alert: this is total bull) whether you would die by licking rocks, etc, etc.

If we can't agree on the basic facts (nay, the function of mathematical operators such as addition and subtraction), then I really don't think it's worth continuing.
