It seems way out of proportion, given the trivial incident that led to the whole chain of unfortunate events.
Seems like he must have rubbed a few 'influential' people up the wrong way. I hope there was no anti semitism involved.
It beats me. This one and the gaoling of Pauline Hanson do seem to be dispropotionately severe in the extreme.
