Quite frankly, I wish the police would spend their time doing something useful like monitoring the movements of bikie gang members rather than chasing the Marcus Einfelds of this world. What an ubelievable waste of resources - chasing down his every move in detail including bank movements, mobile telephone records, right down to searching his house and seizing a computer hard drive etc. Sounds like a bit of a witch-hunt to me. While I don't think his crime should go unpunished, he is without doubt NOT a dangerous criminal, and should not in my opinion have been given a custodial sentence. A bit of perspective wouldn't go astray.
