People care less about my opinion less, but as I see it, the situation is:
Metgasco has a production license close to Casino within 2 kms of the residential zone and still needs a water management approval and further environmental approvals.
These both may be impacted by the new Govt regulations.
They also have the Kingfisher conventional discovery that is also within the 2 km of Casino residential area.
This gas is not free flowing and will require fracking by all available accounts.
This will also run foul of the new regulations, it seems.
The planned upcoming wells also still need government approval judging by Metgasco's statement in the half yearly.
"The timing of the next wells will be driven by weather (impact of rainfall),government approvals and rig availability."
It's quite possible that we could be back to square 1.
