Dido i see nothing about conventional being fracked on that page, it talks about tight gas.
Yes your are partly correct masterfoods, unconventional is defined by the methods used to extract the gas and the type of rock.
This information is available all over the web, from sources in australia and overseas.

"The term “unconventional” simply refers to the methods that are used, as well as the types of rock from which the oil and natural gas are produced."
From scotland:

What are unconventional gases and how are they extracted?
The term unconventional gas refers to methods used to extract methane gas from underground shale rock and coal beds, rather than the gas itself. These methods are referred to as fracturing, also known as fracking.
From the WEstern Australian dept minerals and petroleum:
http://www.dmp.wa.gov.au/15136.aspx
"Tight gas, shale gas and coal seam gas are called ‘unconventional gas,’ for the alternative method used to recover them from the ground.
Conventional gas is released easily through the sandstone and carbonate rocks they are stored in. The rock formations that hold unconventional gas prevent it from flowing freely, so a different process is needed to recover the gas from the ground.
For unconventional gas, the rock formations need to undergo hydraulic fracture stimulation (also known as fracking or fraccing) to release the gas and enable recovery. "
Please provide your source where anone anywhere says conventional wells are fracked.
