We survive quite well Mogga.
Every year the wet season is different - different rainfall; different no of cyclones ( or not) ; number of monsoon pulses and their length ( usually around 2 weeks) . All the BOM does is throw worst based modelling stats at the media who love to do the drama about "unprecedented" this or that.
Now of course meteorologists have to stand next to politicians in news briefings and talk worst case scenarios to the sheeple. Meteorologists are being politicised just like medical public servants were in the Scamdemic.
Is it to build mistrust in another institution deliberately ? Or are the pollies hiding behind them ?
It is a farce
