    Well that's what I thought, but everything is checking out so far.

    If you drift from Mexico you will hit the Marshall Islands eventually. The Mexican police went looking for him and other boats after the storm which was 13 months ago.

    His nickname was La Chancha which apparently is a friendly term for fatty. He could just have a round head and high cheekbones. And scurvy and malnutrition make parts of your body swell.

    Don't write it off just yet.
