I have read a stack of company announcement but I cant find what exactly happened with Groundhog.
Groundhog was 30km from rail and Elan is 13km (not much difference)
Groundhog has 1.5Billion tons of Anthracite which according to the company sells for 100% more than Coking Coal which we are exploring Elan for. Elan has 400m tons of coking coal........ why dont we dig out the Anthracite if its more valuable......
So why arent we producing at Groundhog? I get there is a massive Capex but whats to say Elan wont have massive Capex??
Can a long term holder explain please. Also why are we giving a japanese company 35% of Panorama section of GroundHog for $5m.... this is used for exploration..... we have explored already and found 1.5B tons of coal - why do we need to find any more? what do we do if we find more??? since we arent digging out what we have.......
