We don't want to be simplistic, because there will be many other factors affecting indices such as the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator and similar price measurements for livestock sold for which ELD is agent, but while the extensive rain in eastern Australia is a curse if one's in Cairns, further down the coast the old adage 'there's money in mud' comes to mind.
We are a long way in cities like Sydney/Melbourne from WA but it is much drier in the West.
