As the eternal pessimist, I was expecting a drought in lower eastern Australia in calendar 2024.

While less than a third of the year is over, so far that prediction is wrong.

Having traded ELD a few times, like many I am comfortably ahead, but at one stage thought ELD was a 'dog' stock and positivity would not occur, especially when there was the controversy over the 'secret' meeting(s) with selected brokers/analysts.

Given the age old saying 'there's money in mud', we may see reasonable to good times for much of the agricultural and horticultural subsectors this year, though there are many variables including geopolitics. Flooding could be an unwelcome event for some.
