I started buying a couple of years ago at $10 and watched it rise. When it went back below $10 earlier in the year I was quick to buy again because I didn’t think it would stay there for long. I am surprised as everyone else by the reaction since.

I bought some more today, so average price of around $9.20 now. I’m 36 and have these in my ‘for retirement’ portfolio and, at 36 years old, I can afford to show a lot of patience.

It certainly might go lower, but I think in 5-10 years people will be wishing they had gotten in at this price. This stock seems to react to a lot of short term news and to quote M.A earlier today, the share price has a clear disconnect from the fundamentals. Ag stocks are not ones to hold if you can’t see through short term pain. This is a diversified and well run business, and the Ag/food thematic can only grow from here.

I’m a little nervous for the short term, but for me it’s just numbers on paper.
