IMO, it’s good that our CEO is in business school, he’ll pick up the latest ideas; in my career as an investor I’ve met more than a few CEOs who might have benefited. We know that tech wiz kids have their strengths and weaknesses, just like everyone else. I’m sure (hope) that he’s got expert advice on hand when it’s needed.
The impairment ‘loss’ is an accounting exercise, it only matters if it becomes permanent.
Yes, be like me, put it in the bottom drawer and see if it works, or not, it’s far too early to waste any time rubbishing it.
