This is definitely unique in that the options expire, that been said I am not sure that will halt a run.

Many are anticipating underwriters getting options at 20 cents per option and then dumping. The questions is how many shares will be converted by holders. The more we convert the less the underwriters have to dump.

The conversion of options and the fact that they are underwritten should be seen as a vote of confidence in LOM not a slight on the company. LOM is going to get 9 mil cash from options. That's 9 Mil we don't have to get from further dilution. If its holders convert their options then realistically they have bought those options between 4.5 and 40 cents(October 2016) . This will mean paying from 24.5 cents to 60 cents for the right to have a head.

Even at a low that is not a massive amount of margin between where we are now and a conversion at 24.5 cents. Typically option buyers/holders tend to be more long term investors.

Agree an underwriter can come along and get cheap unconverted options at 20 cents. Even then lets say they target a 25% margin - you are looking at a sale price of 25 cents per head, 15% margin is 23 cents per head.

The big questions centre's around how many options remain unconverted as that will determine the underwriters holdings?

I tactically sold my heads to buy the equivalent amount in options as it removes some of that risk. I also picked options up on a discount on where my heads were at in that point in time. A nice tidy capital loss for tax purposes but the equivalent amount of options at a 5% discount on my heads so no real loss.

I am keen to see how the conversion plays out as we may be crying wolf on what could likely be more cash in the bank with big news flows to follow.
