The Senate is the key to the stock market because the Trump corporate tax cuts and low-interest rates made after-tax earnings suddenly grow. The market rode the wave. We will not know which party controls the Senate until January.
Right now, the Presidential race rests on the outcome of the Arizona state vote count. Biden is ahead by about 17,000 votes. There are more votes to count, and then there likely will be a recount.
