I hope you are right Dex.

The way I see it legislation will be made in the lower house where disgruntled ex-NATs will hold the balance of power and will have to pass an upper house where Greens will hold the balance of power by a serious margin (after next June).

So our future is the in the hands of farmers and "green" pollies - just the nightmare coalition of improbable bedfellows who have spearheaded the current attacks on CXY (regardless of who is winding them up and pointing them in our direction).

I'm a pessimist by nature and I see a lot of scope for ideologically inspired collateral damage in the next few years.

Hope you're right and I'm wrong.
