GE result should be known by 10.30pm/11.00pm (same as WA time) according to my local friends here, any delays to this may mean an opposition win for the country, which few think will happen despite voting for the ruling opposition here in Penang State.
Hope there is no repeat of the violence in 1969 (100 dead), however, racial tensions are less now, and all police/military are voting on 30th April to free them up for any eventuality next weekend. Petrol bombs already thrown, fights and arrests made (all small scale to date)with a week to go.
Close election or not time will tell.
