Anyway - much to do for new govt - could start by putting a lot of previous corrupt officials in jail but that wont happen.
A lot of new appointments to be announced - some major policy changes as mooted (especially the one that gives a running president immunity from prosecution) then onto rebuilding Malawi for these long suffering people.
Interestingly or coincidental - a report yesterday of a new coal powered plant from a South African company along with a coal mine to feed to such. We may see a lot of these projects now as DPP has been ousted. Mutharika - instead of supporting local industry preferred to import cheap coal and cement from neighbouring countries - no doubt receiving kick backs for such. This announced project could be of significance in that confidence in investment will return to Malawi and shovel ready projects will commence asap to develop the said million jobs in 12 months.
