Opposition PSD Reiterates Support To MPLA In Elections

Luanda – The president of Social Democratic Party (PSD) Nzuzi Nsumbo Friday here reiterated his party’s support to the ruling MPLA in the forthcoming 05 September legislative polls.




Speaking at a press conference, Nzuzi Nsumbo said that the National Agenda of Consensus is the evident proof of the country’s governing party in guaranteeing well-being for the Angolan population, thus it deserves PSD support. So he called on the opposition party’s militants and members to vote in MPLA as it is the right decision.




This support is due to the fact that there is a convergence in ideological posture between both parties (PSD and MPLA). "It is not a political pasting, but is a free, conscience and sovereign option of PSD dimension in the electoral context", explained the opposition leader.




The candidature to the legislative elections of the Social Democratic Party was not accepted
by the Constitutional Court (TC) due to lack of some documents.
