I don’t see this as an argument against electric buses, assuming it’s something designers can learn from and rectify.
Likewise, gas pipelines freezing in Texas isn’t an argument against gas, as it seems to be a design or operating issue of the particular networks. As I’ve posted elsewhere, the Russians successfully operate gas pipelines in Siberia, that can withstand -62 deg C, so it can be done.
