you just don't get these dumb debates overseas - like climate debates and now EV's

everyone here knows the climate is changing ------- they all talk about what the winters were like whey they were kids - 'up to me r's in snow' -- 'never see that anymore' 'when I was a kid, if I'd have fallen over in the snow, they would never have found me'

wild swings in weather - this last week in France - now described as an agricultural disaster for wine - biggest weather disaster in a century

if one were to pop up here and say - oh, the aussies just thing it's normal

they'd think you were bloody crazy

same deal EV's -- no one argues that they aren't here to stay - no one

just the crims we sent south a couple of hundred years ago on an island - they're still there and breeding apparently

I actually don't think they can be serious. we all love a good cackle and these ppl are no exception - this is just their turn of wit.

sure some may be serious -- but who would really want to admit they've been sucked in by the dumb arguments, sly subtlety of the likes of Bolt and the bombastic nonsense of Jones or Kelly, on SAD.....

I have friends n rels all over the globe tell me the same as you describe. the broad understanding that the science is genuine and seeing the changes as we are here in Aus. Worsening storms and sudden switches to harsh dry conditions.

aahhh but surely France is looking pretty lovely right now.... so what's been so bad for the vineyards.... too much rain again?
