Probably going to be more realistic to have under/over 15,000km per year, lot of people will clock up 2000km a fortnight, can’t be renewing rego every few weeks.
Government overtaxes the purchase of cars initially, there’s no need to encourage people to buy Aussie made cars anymore, won’t be removing import or luxury car tax anytime soon which would be better than an “incentive” to buy an EV. Still be collecting everything they make from fuel for a while too.
