Got the Lux down to 3 kms driving distance on the dashboard LCD screen this arvo before filling the tank, 72 litres it took.
So I drew on my Maths IV year 12 skills and using these skills to multiple 72 l by 11.6 kms/l I can assume that the distance to go on the screen of 602k’s was a couple of hundred k’s short if I trust the 11.6 kms a litre that it suggests is my average.
The use of fear (in this case fuel) is a great example of how to manipulate the human brain, one would assume that there was some research done and a statistical equation offered up the parameters on how best to set the numbers to make most notice.
Kinda reminds me of another number?
Anyway, I’m 97% certain that I can get an extra 100k’s once the computer readout says 0 kilometres left in the tank.
