I agree with a lot of what you say, however, can you explain how the ICE has reached its limit? The stop to further research is purely government restriction, it’s not because car companies can’t continue to improve them, the best ICE is superior to the best EV for most applications in my opinion.

The argument that the EV is more environmentally friendly is probably irrelevant to most anyway, people will kick up a fuss in public but couldn’t care less in reality, people will ultimately do what they want irrespective of the impact it has, the EV will improve, they’re already impressive but they certainly aren’t for everyone.
