I think it's great if racing is finding real range issues


it's racing that solves a lot of this stuff - racing gives us technological leaps - it's like war

all manufacturing does is make things either pretty or find ways to make things fail so, we buy the next one


to have racing failures is a wonderful thing


I remember back in ????????? maybe 97 or 98 -- there was a race - it might have been Bathurst - something like that -

and, a mate who was watching it said - it was hilarious because there were Hyundai's and Kia's dropping like flies - breaking down everywhere


well - it wasn't all that many years post that when Hyundai's were giving people huge mileages without putting a spanner on the things -

enormous kilometre driving value

racing - failing - was a big part of that story
