It's an interesting question but probably a bit pointless as demonstrated by some of the responses.
There is no perfect car. It is a personal choice depending on one's situation.

That's a funny comment by old mate given things like Britain's ban on new ice vehicles only 9 years away. I'd say Britain doesn't think it's irrelevant.
If one was to live in the mid-inner city with a daily vehicle commute I'd say an ev would be ideal.
I had a ride on a Zero electric motorcycle a few years ago. Except for the purchase price, it was perfect as a commuter. Very low maintenance. Very cheap to run. Very quiet. Heaps of grunt.
I have to laugh at people's biases some times.
