Petrol tax ? Governments have been working on that for years due to dropping revenues. Expect a distance travelled tax for all vehicles.

Evs high tyre wear ? Lol . That's a good one.

Hybrids solve the problem ? No space. No real range. Expensive. Just a compromise to make people feel good.

Government recharging network ? Nah. Private companies are building them . Even Shell, the massive oil company is getting involved.

Btw. Every electrical installation in Australia is an ev fuel station. That's hundreds of millions of places to plug in an ev.
