Its a shame that the new Porsche Taycan doesn't have a V8 engine option. It would make a fabulous ICE car if it did.
I saw four Taycans at a Porsche dealer the other day and they'll definitely leave Tesla dead in its tracks. The body design and quality construction and luxurious interior set them apart.
I was told that they're popular with Melbourne lefties/greenies who think they're saving the planet, they're not your normal Porsche driver. They're the white woke shoe brigade who aren't the real car enthusiasts and the few that are car enthusiasts have optioned the fake exhaust sound to make themselves feel normal. So now the exhaust sound comes out from a loudspeaker so that they can pretend they're driving a real car.
