The missus does a run to the local shop every couple of days for the mail, and a weekly 110 klm round trip to the supermarkets/ chemist/ doctor/ butcher etc........ and we are classed as semi remote.
No doubt those in suburbia will do less klm than us, so where is the problem when you can plug into a single phase outlet in your garage ???
The ones that will find it hard are the toffs in their apartment with no parking..... But... you lot can walk LOL
No doubt, the debate will continue till EV's are here or dead in the water.... my pick.... they will be here in abundance, Governments will enforce sealed odometers that are satellite tracked, with a quarterly account sent out for road tax.
