    As i said, the drive will come from China; subsidised manufacturing facilities, cheap labour etc and economies of scale will see the the cost for EV drop substantially - expected to be similar to an ICE within 5 years.
    It's funny how people are so concerned with charging and range anxiety when 90% of us rarely do more than 100kms per day.
    You only have to look at the smog in any large city, and multiply that by hundreds to understand why there is a move away from fossil fuels. I'm not sure what immense costs you see.
    Aren't the big money men already fleecing us all through the OPEC cartel? It's actually China who stands to benefit most.
    As to the investment of large manufacturers, this is their vote on where the ROI will be.
