How did I miss this one... I know of three evs in my area sitting behind barns or workshops for exactly the same reason. You can get them for free if you want them. Don't give us the crap that this isn't fact in this article, although the battery price does seem a bit high from what I have heard but, in essence this is exactly why evs are a dead loss and it gets worse by the day. And as I have said before if it wasn't for the future liability of the grubmint for allowing benzene (a carcinogen) to be added to unleaded fuel to make it work then we wouldn't even be going through this ev rubbish. It just goes on an on.
