Spent some time in India...crushed my faith in humanity. Seen a fair bit of the world and I would never go back there or endorse travel. The sheer volume of people living on and below the poverty line, let alone the pollution (waste/air/waterways/crumbled infrastructure etc) is hard to fathom without seeing it first hand.
Yet there is an obscene obsession with being officious and money.
Certain areas have vehicle prohibitions and are teeming with plants...quiet and clean, whilst the majority are an assault on the senses. Emissions are actually visible. They need EV's more than anyone else but I just can't see Tata making a real dent here, hopefully I'm wrong.
