Electric cars thread, page-1077

I have seen a handful of model3’s on the road in the last couple of days, as well as an electric Kona.
They may not be in the category of “affordable for the masses” yet, but there are plenty of people happy to buy a bimma or merc that are taking the early adopter path.
Great to see!
It will be interesting one day to show the grandkids the dinosaur v8 ICE in my garage and tell them stories about how these gas guzzling smoke blowing things were everywhere “back in the old days”
Perhaps the difference “on the streets” then will be as noticeable as a pub/club today vs 20 years ago when the air was absolutely filled with cigarette smoke! Seemed “normal” then but we don’t accept that anymore!

..still trying to find the global ev sales numbers for August, it seems some sources are changing their reporting structures and making it hard to see the real figures... will post when I find useful numbers..
