My family has two ICE vehicles, one being a Nissan Patrol which is well used for extended camping trips and boat launching.
We will hold these cars until necessary, we will never buy another ICE vehicle. If anyone cares to look at the progress in charging times you would see that they are moving at a faster rate than the drop in battery prices, both are moving in the right direction.
IMO in two years a quality BEV will have a range of over 1000km and will be easy charged at home overnight on a $1500 charger, or visit MacDonalds, grab a feed go for a leak, 15-20m another 800km in the tank.
Some people need help with their forward thinking, the days of living in a cardboard box are over, open the flaps, open your eyes and have a good look around.
