Everyone of those claims you posted has actually been modeled already. There are plenty of examples out there.

As to the industry being ready ? Just like any other new development , the industry that supports it grows as the product grows.

Want some examples ? Agriculture, powered flight, powered vehicles etc.

How many paved roads were there in the world when the first automobile was built ? How many service stations were there ? How many auto insurance companies were there ? Etc.

You know, I reckon if you were born in a cave, you'd still be living in it. Why would you shift into one of those new fangled bark huts ? Who would service it ? Where would you get the bark from ? etc.
