That is not a stupid request, just badly explained.
Many people do just that. The buy a heavy duty off-road caravan, hook it to their Troopie, and explore central Australia during the winter months. No EV is, as yet, capable of that.
The other thing which crossed my mind, when watching those extreme towing tests which the EV wins every time is. How long could the EV keep doing it for? The diesel would do it all day, all week, all month, and all year. Unless my experience with batteries and electric motors all my working life is a myth. The batteries and motors would soon overheat, and the Thermal-overload devices would shut you down, until the whole "ganz megillah'\" cooled down.
