I think LIS could deal with many car companies. They can license out to as many as they can. There are numerous car makers who are behind the eight ball here. We are talking massive investment moving forward to stay in the game. Ford is embarking on its largest investment phase in its history as we speak. This technology doesn’t require a ground up factory build, it can be worked into a working plant. Many technologies fall over because large companies don’t like chucking out billions of dollars worth of embedded plant to make the swap. That’s one of the reason why The orbital engine couldn’t get going. It was a ground up play that looked and sounded good but fundamentally didn’t make economic sense to the car maker. LIS doesn’t want to make batteries, that’s not what they do best. They are the brains trust holding the IP for next generation of batteries to be licensed to the big boys.
