There are plenty of new innovative ways ,some companys are coming up with to move away from using cobalt.. i was talking to a telsa rep,he was ramping uo that cobalt would be not used in telsa batterys for much longer.. i did mention that telsa only sells $120,000, Cars at the moment ! and when the asian countrys start producing a cheap more reliable car with cobalt batterys that hold a longer charge with more range..
Maybe telsa will be as the steam engine was..
For the EV revolution to work .. everbody will need to afford to buy one.. not just 20% of the economy.. and not providing a power source that needs constant charging..
