Interestingly Adelaide has had some times on some days recently where the grid was 100% powered by renewable sources. The killer plot move here may also be in the battery walls in people's homes. I believe the south Australian gov and Tesla have already subsidised thousands of these gathering data to manage a renewable as possible grid. While our market isn't rnu's market this is an example of how energy security will be approached in the future on a global scale. Ultimately people will switch when the price at the pump/rego for ice cars is higher than electric.
