@hightrax government is working with Ampol, BP, Evie Networks, Tesla, the NRMA and Zeus Renewables to install the chargers. None of these companies are short of a dollar. Likely will go into the price of the electricity charged to the customer as you say. Tesla chargers are already expensive compared to charging at home. You are far better off charging at home especially if you have solar. I was chatting to a sales rep recently who drove a Tesla Model 3 and he was telling me in ACT there are places to charge for free.
NRMA Members are able to use our fast chargers for free.
