As for reliability, I've worked in a coal-fired power station near Singleton NSW, specifically called in during planned, and un-planned outages (there were a lot). Australia's fleet of aging coal-fired power stations are unfortunately not up to the task of providing their name plate capacity, particularly during hot summers and heavy peaking grid demands.

Australia can be a renewable powerhouse and copper is integral to the clean energy transition, including powering electric vehicles, big and small.
PS. think of the productivity increases from a population not woken in the early hours by noisy diesel trucks and dragging themselves to work sleep deprived.

Good thread@Bison8! For those unfamiliar of copper's place in EVs, understandable, as the mainstream press talks about lithium ad infinitum, but little about the other minerals involved. Regardless of cathode or anode chemical changes, copper will be a constant as a current collector:
