Butcherboy - I think you misinterpreted what I said.

My comment on the electric cars, is that if the just FOCUSED on the one side of the equation, and not on the electricity sight of things, then THAT would be short sighted.

In no way was I saying lets stick with Oil, but Grizzly's comment that I was responding to was that the governments preference was for EV cars. I am merely saying that they need to look at the power generation side as well, in conjuction with any EV policy. Which of course benefits CFU

Sorry if my posting was not more clear. I am not a supporter of continued oil use like you seem to accuse me of!!!!!!
