Lets dream and say the cost of fossil fuels electricity and petrol remarkable stay static for the next 10 years. So ballpark average house $8k per year x 10 years = $80k
Battery lifespan now on some is 30 years and panels up to 15 years. The numbers are starting to stack up for mine. You can be sure of those 2 technologies one will evolve and become cheaper and more efficient and the other will not. I would not do it at my age but to deny his is the future makes no sense.
Suburban electricity grids base on panels and batteries should be happening. But naturally these systems will allow people to disconnect from monopoly industries and be able to just grab their own electricity.. a very threatening model, thus the profound propaganda and opposition to it.
