The increase in electricity prices has far outstripped inflation. China must be laughing at us knowing that they can buy our coal, build a new coal fired power plant each week and use the cheap, abundant and reliable electricity it provides to manufacture wind turbines and solar panels which they sell back to us at inflated prices, all the while knowing that we are destroying our energy security and becoming more reliant on them.
