Hi all,

I see a few posts about the timing of oil production..whether it is 6-18months is not really all that important, obviously it is with regards to cash flow, but for in the short term once the quantity and other important factors are known and if favourable, the price will rise accordingly and factor in the future cash flow.

Its all about the systematic risk, or the suprise annoucement which will make this price move (either way) in the short term - that is if the theories of corporate finance have anything to do with it.

Ps. Thanks to many of the folk on this forum who have provided much insight into the ins and outs of the drilling etc.
