Backreef prospect is a seismic anomoly, not a actual structure per say. It is wedged shaped, like a back reef talus slope deposition. Talus Slope deposits are similar to TURBIDITES!
In a complex basin like the Canning, chasing anomolies near known oil fields / trends seems reasonable to me.
I recommend you read the geologists report in the Oil Basins Prospectus by Roger Meaney.
