ASX (the stock) have recently declared a 51.5c fully franked divdend (comprising final dividend per share of 27.4c and special dividend per share of 24.1c).
ASX goes ex-dividend next Monday 9/8/04. ASX site under options-"volatility and dividend parameters" has been incorrectly stating ASX goes ex-dividend on 27/8, this is the day the dividend is paid.
ASX closed at $15.90 today so this equates to a fully franked dividend of 3.23% or grossed up yield of 4.61%.
Could be useful for those classed as sharetraders with access to large funds or margin loan or ASX instalment warrant holders. Need to hold ASX for 45 days to claim franking credits.
