It would be really sad where the African elephant to disappear.. They are truly a magnificent creature.
Black Rhino's are all but extinct and you will be lucky to see one without armed rangers beside you.. That said they are scary buggers...
The world really needs to put pressure on China to stop the demand. It is the only nation driving this carnage, and all for a bullshot reason.. It has to stop.
We were in Kenya in December and seen that they are cutting the horns off Rhinos so as to stem supply, this will no doubt start to happen to elephants soon (wouldn't be keen on that job...) although there may be a reason it doesn't occur. But a rhino with no horn is like Elle Macpherson without ears.. Good but not how you would like...
